Follow your passion - how tough is that? To do exactly what you love and survive in an expensive city?
My passion has always been animals; as Herriot wrote, “All Creatures Great and Small.” I have a degree in Biological Sciences, worked on marine mammal research, attended veterinary technology school, and done rotations at three veterinary hospitals. But technology also fascinates me. So, as cheesy as it may sound, I feel blessed to be able to combine my two passions in one job.
As a Search Analyst at Searchme, I have the freedom to work on verticals related to biology, animals, veterinary medicine, zoology and much more. And people from different academic backgrounds and cultures make the work environment extremely rich and fun. It’s great to be able to learn more and more about a huge array of subjects and to talk to really smart people on a daily basis. All this knowledge contributes to improving the quality of our search results, and brings a high degree of personal satisfaction.
